JC Bahr-de Stefano, Editor & Memelord

JC has a keen interest in financial services innovation, and became a writer at TFU in 2018. Concurrently, JC helped build a consulting practice focused on advising financial institutions undertaking transformation, operational improvement, and cost saving initiatives. He traded his suit and tie for a hoody and sneaks in 2020, joining Affirm – first on the Financial Partnerships team, where he focused on consumer and merchant underwriting, before moving to the Corporate Development and Strategy team. Now, JC is a venture capital investor at Better Tomorrow Ventures, an early-stage fintech focused fund, backing incredible founders building the next generation of financial services. Outside of the “office,” JC can be found reliving his glory days playing men’s league soccer, sitting in unreasonably cold tubs of ice, or doing the NYT crossword. LinkedIn + Twitter
